Professor Gao currently serves as the Dean of the School of Ancient Civilizations and Museology at Shanxi University and Visiting Professor of Southern University of Science and Technology.

2. "Contemporary World and China" is a required course, and students must attend at least 10 lectures within their first two years of study. Upon completion of 10 lectures, students will be given a Grade S (Satisfactory). For those who have attended less than 10 lectures, a Grade U (Unsatisfactory) will be given.
