BNBU Institute for Advanced Study is a significant milestone positioned to drive cutting-edge research and innovation. Drawing on the College’s resources, excellence and talents, IAS is set to energize groundbreaking research collaborations, creative answers and cross-disciplinary approaches. Its aim is to build UIC into a vibrant academic body that provides solutions to significant societal challenges and be an inspiration to the community at large.

In response to national initiatives, the Institute is galvanized to address and tackle the ever-challenging problems through a diverse team effort with a convergence of disciplines. At its initial stage, the Institute will engage in three key fields, namely:

• Science, innovation, and core technology such as AI, big data, industrial software;

• Interdisciplinary application for data science in the field of One Health, medical health, etc.;

• Cutting-edge creation for culture and arts such as artistic innovation, smart arts.

  
  

This includes organizing activities ranging from lectures and forums, conferences and workshops, to topical research programs, providing a platform for exchange of ideas and promoting open-discipline collaborative achievements.
